About Annual Scouting Day
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office would like to invite Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts (along with their troop leaders and parents/guardians) to attend the department's Annual Scouting Day.
Scouting Day is a special event where Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts learn about the work performed by the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office and other public safety agencies in our county. This event includes tours of the Sheriff’s Patrol Station, educational activities, and demonstrations. Youth and families can meet and interact with deputies, officers, and volunteers from the Crime Prevention Unit, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program, K-9 Unit, S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons and Tactics), Water Patrol Unit, Dive Team, and Community Support Services. Members of the Lake Johanna Fire Department and Allina Ambulance Service will also be there to give tours of their vehicles and answer any questions.
Scouting Day is held on the last Saturday in February at the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Station, 1411 Paul Kirkwold Drive, Arden Hills (just north of Highway 96 and Hamline).
