Ad for Bid - White Bear Ave Concrete Rehabilitation
Bid opening date for the project is July 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm. (White Bear Ave Concrete Rehabilitation)
White Bear Avenue is scheduled to be repaired between White Bear Ct and County Rd F. The work will consist of repairing pavement joints and cracks and replacing damaged concrete panels. The road surface will undergo diamond grinding to improve smoothness. Pedestrian curb ramps will be replaced to conform with current standards. The work should begin in the spring of 2012.
Maryland Avenue at Rice Street
Maryland and Rice
Improvements to Maryland Avenue at Rice Street are underway. The improvements include widening Maryland Avenue to allow for left turn lanes to northbound and southbound Rice Street.

5/22/12 Update
The Rice Street/ Maryland Avenue Intersection and Maryland Avenue west to Albemarle Street will remain closed . Detours are posted. PHASE 2 - Detour Map Local businesses are accessible via detour. Be advised that "NO PARKING" has been posted in various areas of the detour route.
Signal work in the intersection will continue for the remainder of this week. Bituminous paving and concrete flatwork (sidewalks) should begin later in the week.
The intersection of Maryland Avenue and Rice Street is scheduled to open mid week next week.
