Payment Requirements

  • Payment must be made in U.S. dollars by money order or check from a U.S. bank or a U.S. branch. The bank routing number must be encoded along the bottom edge of the check or money order. Payments not meeting these requirements cannot be accepted.

  • If your tax is $100.00 or less for real property or $50.00 or less for personal property or manufactured homes, it must be paid in full by the first installment date to avoid penalty.

  • If you pay your first half and/or your second half property tax after the due dates, a penalty will be added to your tax (view the 2014 Penalty Schedule).  If you own multiple properties, check to make sure you have a statement for each property.

  • If your taxes are escrowed by your mortgage company, do not pay them individually.
