Bring your preschool, daycare or playgroup to Tamarack to experience the joy and wonder of nature. Naturalist-led programs are available year-round as well as self-guided trail excursions.

Homeschool - At Home in Nature

Tamarack Nature Center offers classes to meet the needs of Homeschool students. These classes are typically two hours in length and develop concepts and skills in science, social studies, art and recreation. Most classes include a range of activities to accommodate mixed-age groups typical of the homeschools that visit Tamarack.  However, separate tracks for preschool, elementary and middle school students are available.

Homeschool Brochure - Natural Wonders offers homeschool co-op coordinators the opportunity to schedule a class for their co-op. Topics change monthly, best for ages 5-10.

 

Outreach - We Can Come to You!

Tamarack Nature Center has on-staff naturalists with the expertise and interest to come to your facility to share exciting nature-related programs with your group. Specific programs can be designed to meet your educational needs.

Outreach programs are available for school groups and community groups on various seasonal topics and may include the use of live animals.
