Boating Access Locations

The water surface use of Ramsey County's lakes is regulated by the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department. For more information on Ramsey County lakes, rules and regulations call the Ramsey County Sheriff at 651-266-7350.

Fishing

All persons 16 years and older are required to have the appropriate license with them when fishing. Licenses are available through the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources License Bureau, county auditors, and many stores that sell fishing-related goods.

Fishing piers are located at the following lakes:

Otter Lake Regional Park - Boat Launch and Restroom Building Redevelopment Project - Concept Plan

 

The Boat launch and parking for the off-leash dog area will be closed mid September 2011-November 2011.  The boat launch may have periodic periods where it may be used.  Check back for construction updates.  The off-leash dog area main entrance gate will be available for foot traffic.  Parking can be accommodated on the shoulder of Otter Lake Road, south of the areas marked with “No Parking” signs.
